15-year-old Melissa is passionate about dancing. While her parents believe she is attending classical ballet lessons, she is actually pouring her energy into hip-hop. Her dreams seem to come true when she is cast in a music video for the famous rapper Brainpower. However, amidst the glitz and glamour, she becomes ensnared in a dark world of substance abuse. As her life begins to spiral out of control, her true friends must go to great lengths to save her from herself.
